Adam is entering his tenth year of Grand National tractor pulling in the mini-modified division. Having grown up around tractor pulling, he was destined to follow his father. Once he got into the driver’s seat, Adam “hit the ground running” and was awarded the NTPA’s Rookie of the Year in 2005. Adam inherited the success of his father because he soon achieved the runner-up position in 2006 and 2008 and the Grand National Championship and Mini Modified Puller of the Year in 2007. With those 2006, 2007 and 2008 points finishes, Adam and his father, Larry, became the first father-son team to have one-two finishes for three years running.

Adam also earned first-place finishes in 2007 and 2008 in the Rotella Cup (formerly known as the Pennzoil Cup), a shoot-out style competition spanning over three events. He is a graduate of Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana where he earned a degree in Tool and Die and also played college baseball for two years.
